Coquitlam Teddy Bear Grand Parade and Environmental Awards Celebration

Sunday, June 8th turned out to be a busy day for society members.  We entered our float in the Coquitlam Teddy Bear Grand Parade in the morning and settled in for an evening of good food and good company at the Coquitlam Environmental Awards Celebration where the city thanks volunteers for their service to the community.

In the middle of the parade, we get an interview and a thank  you.

Then it is time to take it all apart for another year.

Thank you to the City of Coquitlam for a fine evening celebrating environmental efforts and achievements by so many groups and individuals.

The Hyde Creek contingent was small but vocal.

Is there a market for folded Japanese Knotweed leaf airplanes?  Shane seems to think so.

One busy day and lots of memories.  Thanks to all members who participated but thanks most of all to April who correctly answered her question and placed us first in line for the super buffet.
